More than 25 years ago, after the birth of my daughter, my shoe size changed from a 10 to an 11.

Suddenly, the stylish options I once had become much harder to find.

The problem was not my size. The options were.

That experience inspired me to create Chaussures, a boutique where extended sizes are a continuation of fashion, not an afterthought.

That belief still guides me today. I attend shoe markets not only to buy the latest styles, but also to advocate for more fashionable designs in extended sizes. I meet with brand owners, manufacturers, VPs of sales, and sales representatives to share the concerns of women who wear extended sizes and make sure their style preferences are part of the conversation.
